yes cracking your nuckles, spine, neck or any place is not healthy
to stop put a rubber band on your wrist and when ever you catch your self doing it snap the rubber band against your wrist causing instant pain, after a while it will start to hurt more and you will stop if you go by the rules
also take a pen and mark your arm every time you crack and take a look at your armat the end of the day
