How much water does my body need?

There are varied oppinions by people on the amount of water intake needed for our body. Can someone give an answer that will help?
Answer:
We need to maintain the right balance with mother earth. The earth consists of 75 percent water so also our bodies.
To maintain the right balance the intake must be 1.5 times the out-put. Now the out-put can be through perspiration, urine and stools.
On an average to stay healthy one needs to drink at least 3 to 4 ltrs of water depending on your output. If you exercise or play a lot of sports you my even need to drink 5 ltrs in summer.
ive heard that the recommended amount of FLUID per day is eight glasses. when they say fluid they mean anything liquidy, including water itself. i.e. softdrinks, juice, coffee, fruit.
well you need at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily in order to survive.
A certified health coach who works with me advises one half ounce of water per pound of body weight.
drink water, pure water. and about 2lt are ok. at summer you should consume more. it is good for your body since your body consists of 60-65% of water! also good for feeling full and eating less! of course there's no limit! bottom's up!
