How serious is gange green?

Answer:
It's deadly serious. Once gangrene sets in, there's usually nothing they can do to restore the area to health, and unless it's surgically removed, the person will die.
It can kill. It can maim. It is really bad to have this condition.
not that serious you don't even have to go to the doctors. just get some tweezers and jet all of the gunk out.
Gang Green is a very serious condition. I knew someone who had developed it on their foot and end up having to have their whole leg amputated in order to prevent the gang green from spreading. That's really all i now, but it's enough to let me know that it is to be considered very serious.
Gangrene is when the tissue has died.

The affected part becomes, black, may have a very nasty odor like three day old road kill or not have any odor,be grey and flaky looking.

It can kill you.
IT CAN KILL YOU AND IF YOU LISTEN TO nathan k THEN YOU ARE A MORON AND WILL DIE GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP.
well, it is not so serious at the very beginning, but if you go a short while without getting it checked it can spread, and the nerves of this area will become damaged. If it spreads to an entire extremity, this said extremity may need to be amputated.

and yes, it spreads rather quickly.
Gangrene is necrosis and subsequent decay of body tissues caused by infection or thrombosis or lack of blood flow. It is usually the result of critically insufficient blood supply sometimes caused by injury and subsequent contamination with bacteria. This condition is most common in the extremities. The best of all possible treatments is revascularization (restoration of blood flow) of the affected organ, which can reverse some of the effects of necrosis and allow healing. Depending on the extent of tissue loss and location, treatment other than revascularization runs the gamut from allowing digits to auto-amputate (fall off), debridement and local care, to amputation, the removal of infected necrotic tissues.
