How to get skinnier? get chosen for best answer!?

I work out but i don't really get skinnier
i just lose weight from the top of my
stomach but not from my lower part of my
stomach does anyone know how to lose
weight in that part of the area? if so witch exercises
do i need to do? and what type of diets? please help
if you do this i will promise you that you will
get chosen as the best answer

The lower ab area is a really hard place to tone. One of the best exercises is to lay on flat on your back and lift up both legs straight off the floor so your feet around about 1 foot to 1.5 feet off the floor. Hold this move for 15-20 seconds and repeat 3 times.
Another move to tighten abs is the plank. Position yourself like you would as you were doing a push-up and you are pushed up off the floor so your arms are straight. Hold yourself in this position for 60 seconds and repeat 3 times. It may sound simple but it works. You can also try it on your side to help with your obliques.
Try the moves everyday, if your diet is right and you are doing a fair amount of cardio you will probably see definition and results in about 2 weeks.

well do sit ups that really works on your abs and if you are already doing them run everyday and dont eat unless your hungry, slim fasts work they get you full
Run 4 times a week in the morning, and start off at an 8 minute per mile pace, and run for 3 to 4 miles. As you get better over time increase the miles or lower the minutes, or both. As for diets, it not that hard to use common sense while eating if your just trying to eat healthy. Just remember, getting in shape takes time, so you'll have to be patient. Don't expect overnight results, you'll only end up dissapointing yourself. As for your lower abs, running should help a little but you want to try supine bycycles for that. Google it.
The worst thing for your abs (lower) is consuming alot of carbs no matter how much you exercise. And did you know alot of exercises that you do for your abs actually build up your lower ab muscles so it makes you look bigger. My advice to you is do general exercises like swimming or walking.
I would suggest drinking nothing but water, soymilk, and fresh fruit (no sodas or surgary drinks). Try replacing any snacks you have with fresh fruit and dessert with fruit as well. A fruit salad in the morning and after dinner is a really good treat. Try to make sure you eat healthy; its hard to lose weight without a healthy diet.
An ab workout I used that works really well is to lay on your stomach and with your hands, elbows, and toes hold yourself up for a few minutes. You can feel the burn almost instantly. You can also do it for the sides of your abs too.
You may also want to try an aerobic exercise (like running) which will burn much more calories and fat than just doing sit ups.
